Our story
What began as a love for fresh flowers and the way they light up a room quickly blossomed into something more - a desire to spread beauty, joy, and a little magic through every petal.
It was really important for my floral business to be a representation of who I am. Pronounced “Lee-gai-yah,” the name comes from my Filipino roots - Ligaya means happiness and joy, which perfectly captures what we’re all about. Another big part of who I am are my kids. I wanted to make sure I included them as well; so the flowers in my logo each represent my kids’ birth month flowers.
A little love, a little culture, and a whole lot of joy are the ingredients that make our floral business special. Where ligaya blooms, happiness blooms.

Hello, I’m Joy! By day, I’m a nurse - a role that’s taught me the deep importance of care, connection, and creating safe, healing spaces. But I’ve always found another kind of therapy in flowers - the way they brighten a room, uplift a spirit, and speak what words sometimes cannot. I believe flowers have a quiet kind of magic - they’re not just pretty, they’re powerful.
Before nursing, I worked in event planning where I fell in love with creativity, color, and bringing people’s vision to life. That creative spark never left me. So this flower business became the perfect way to blend my love for healing, creativity, and meaningful moments.
